Responsible and Local Ingredients
No palm oil, sodium lauryl sulfate, no chemicals, synthetics or dyes. We use ingredients your Grandmother would have recognized. We sustainably harvest seaweed from the ocean and herbs and food from our gardens.
Handmade, small batched
We hire locally. Makers earn above the living wage and have the option of becoming owners. Our approach is trauma informed, ensuring the work aligns with the values and context for each worker.
Refillable not Plastic
We use refillable mason jars and tin containers and upcycled fabric for our packaging. The jars and tins are refillable at the Gabriola Farmer’s market (we hope to have other locations in the near future). Our aim is zero waste.
